A league where Hatem Ben Arfa looks like a great player and Balotelli is a competent goalscorer and they thought Ibrahimovic would come in and dominate. Alright calm down mate it's not as if he didn't smash them in for fun in Italy either. Yeah sure let's base a player's career ability on what he does when he's 35.

I'm still waiting for him to look a threat against us, nevermind score. Closest he's come is hitting the post in 2005. Not even basing it on how he is now, I've never hidden the fact I think he's overrated and he's come here on the back of his highest scoring season, by far. So his age really isn't the issue. He doesn't get that excuse when he didn't have a 30 goal season until he was in his 30s and coincidentally started scoring astronomical figures when he moved to France.

In fairness to Ibrahimovic, this is pretty much the first time he's played for a shit team. Hardly his fault.

Tell ya what, Cahill might not be the player he was 2-3 years ago, and he'll never be the player Terry/Rio were at their peak but he's deemed good enough to be the Chelsea captain and keeping Terry out of the team and judging by the calamaties that were Smalling & Stones yesterday, he's still the best English centre back available by a pretty considerable distance.

Mourinho is such a parody of himself. Does he not think running up the touchline beating his chest at the expense of a team chasing a title antagonising to the fans or humiliating to Rodgers? Or fish hooking an opposite coach in the eye is pretty antagonising. You could go on forever.
I can't wait until he fails at United and fucks off so we never see him again. Can't see where he'd go in England when he screws up United. A journo mentioned that whenever things go bad for Mourinho anywhere he's been it's always got worse and not better so it'll be fun watching him implode in the remaining months.

Hate when people are like 'United need to buy 4-5 players to make top 4' like throwing money at players in the past few years has actually worked. United have a pretty good squad still in my opinion that isn't being used to its full potential. The likes of Mkhitaryan, Martial have barely been used, Schweinsteiger frozen out, Schneiderlin used sparingly, Depay hardly given another chance. There are so many different combinations you could do with the current squad before you buy anyone else.
A good one I heard is United need to buy another creative player. Yeah it's not like they just bought the top assisters in Serie A and Bundesliga last season...
Mourinho has done a poor enough job so far tactically and team selection. There is also the big problem of going from one extreme style of play (death by possession, high line) to the other (absorb off the ball, counter attack). The team has no identity at the moment, and are miles behind Liverpool in that regard, who have inferior players but are well drilled in amy effective style.

Smalling is miles ahead of Cahill. So are Shawcross, Michael Keane, Scott Dann and even Curtis Davies has been in better form Cahill plays for England cos he plays for Chelsea basically

Always thought Shawcross should have got a chance at a bigger club and even England.

He's no angel himself though. I do agree he's better than Cahill though, who was a good defender at Bolton and early doors at Chelsea but he regressed quickly
