What he done to Krul that time still really annoys me. Horrible twat.

What he done to Krul that time still really annoys me. Horrible twat. Same. Even putting past the fact that they're international teammates, it was a last minute winner in a Premier League game and his first thought is to rub it in a young lad's face, speaks volumes. Loved beating him the other day.

More rumors about us and Falcao. Apparently we're looking at bringing him in on loan in Jan, and a cash + striker full time deal in the summer.

If Spurs bring in another class finisher and then refuse to offer him anything, I'm gonna flip.

If Spurs bring in another class finisher and then refuse to offer him anything, I'm gonna flip. Presume this is down to the Hernandez rumours? I agree, Soldado isn't working because the system we're playing is completely the opposite of what he's used to (be like buying Gareth Barry to be a box-to-box powerhouse or using a system that requires Romelu Lukaku to think) so buying another player who almost solely works as a poacher would be obscene I don't particularly want us to bring in any players and don't expect us to, maybe a cheap forward on loan if Defoe's gone like Ba or Vucinic

Aye, I've grown into quite the fan of him and he's unreal. I said it a couple of weeks ago, Spurs should've looked at Ljajic. Not a huge goalscorer but capable of creating things for himself.
He deserves to be somewhere other than United's bench though, and deserves to be at a top team. If Lukaku wasn't there, he'd suit Everton, the potential for Baines, Mirallas and Hernandez is ridiculous. If he doesn't move this winter, they should look at him in the summer.

I still think Soldado'll work fwiw. Seriously. It's not just optimism.
I mean, a fair bit is optimism but I genuinely think he can work here.

Same here tbh, he's what 15 or so games into his Spurs career its way too early to write anyone off at that stage he hasn't been great and has become a bit of an unfair target tbh the problems in the team go way past the forward line

what happened to falcao, anyway? what's with the rumour he wants to leave already? Apparently he doesn't enjoy life there, and doesn't get along with the manager all that well. He got taken off in the last game at the hour mark, which they said was down to injury, even though he appears to be fine. I dunno, I'd love it if we brought him in obviously. Not sure if we actually will though.

I hope Lukaku stays at Everton tbh. It'll improve them massively once he learns to be a semi-intelligent footballer, but for football on Merseyside, it'd be massive. He's a perfect fit for them.

They would be languishing in mid table if it wasn't for his goals. I appreciate he quite often makes the wrong choice but he's 20 y/o. It's to be expected. But there's no chance of him having a long term future at Everton. There's a possibility of a further season on loan but even that's unlikely. They couldn't afford to buy him outright in their wildest dreams. Well that's not true really.

That is such bollocks reasoning and I really hope you're joking...
Of course him not being there would have an effect, but it's not as if without Lukaku, Everton would just be supplying crosses and passes to no one. Everton would be just fine with another half-decent striker in there, which they probably would have gotten had they not been negotiating for Lukaku.
The strength of Everton is coming from fantastic wideplay, great distribution constantly around the park and a solid positive tactical approach, not just Lukaku passing the ball to himself and scoring.
