He knows full well it was a penalty on Suarez. It's just the Jose way. Don't hate, appreciate. Isn't a manager making everything about him and his media-exaggerated personality why we all dislike Holloway?

Last two games have shown me to be right. Again. We're years away from competing. Sterling and Coutinho have both come on a lot and will continue to do so but they're not going to win us any of these matches for years yet. Still going in the right direction though, will just take years to get there. In the mean time hopefully we can keep beating the shite below us. I could see why you'd be saying this after today but I thought against City you's dominated and still can't wrap my head around how you's lost.

Lol, they really are begging for that penalty, aren't they, even though Azpilicueta is running away with the ball with ease. Calm down, lads. Right, that's not the point at all. It's bit desperate.

Right, that's not the point at all. It's bit desperate. What is? Wanting a penalty for a foul in the box?

Because Samir Nasri was the youngest city player on the pitch. Older than 7 of our starters. We aren't competing in the same markets. Rodgers has been creative in closing the gap but we're still falling short.

Right, that's not the point at all. It's bit desperate. So let's ignore blatant pens. Class logic mate. Class.

What is? Wanting a penalty for a foul in the box? Yeah how fucking dare we want a penalty at Stamford Bridge.

Thought Rodgers said that Webb was a great ref, not that he was great today.

@eric stop calling smith out for everything. Fucking hell coutinho was just as bad as him and he's more experienced. If I was called in to play against Chelsea off the bench on my debut, getting beat I'd of probably shit myself there and then. Give it a rest, I'm not the only one who said he was poor. I'm blaming Rodgers for bringing him on anyway.

Ah well, all in all, we deserved to win the game, penalties or not.

Rodgers has been creative in closing the gap but we're still falling short. Fair enough in terms of squad, but I don't think the City game can be put down to inexperience or anything. Really thought Liverpool bossed it, poor mistake from the keeper and a missed sitter swings it I guess. I do agree you're still short of properly challenging in terms of the squad and Rodgers said it himself there in his post-match interview that it's good to promote youth from within but you need the squad depth to keep challenging.

Find it odd that everyone is still going on about the fucking strikers at Chelsea when to me it's pretty clear that it's the deep 2 in midfield that's the issue. The ball is always too slow and too erratic coming out of midfield to the front 4 to be any use. Lo and behold you put a really good footballer with high energy levels in there like David Luiz and Chelsea's performance goes up a few gears.

Don't forget City and Chelsea's squads are built to cope with the demands of European football as well.

Lack of experience/current ability. Two biggest chances in the game fell to Coutinho and Sterling. If they get those chances at 25 rather than 21 & 19, I'd suggest they put them away.
In the final 3rd those two have really shown their age past few weeks. Plenty of bad decisions, passes and finishes.
Not pointing the finger at those two though, it is what we're currently doing and I'm pleased with how we're developing. Frustrating at times though.
