He got figured out pretty quickly, poor one footed player with an attitude/general level of intelligence that left a lot to be desired.
He's probably left and rejoined Twitter about 10 times now the fucking idiot.

He had a falling out with everyone for refusing to wear the poppy. Everyone ignored that his town was slaughtered by the British though.

McClean was the definition of a one-season wonder. Done okay for Ireland though recently.

Score more premier league goals than Didier Drogba in 05/06 finish as 5th top goal scorer in the premier league. Now he plays for Hartlepool after touring second division chinese football.

Anderson.
Reading that list of previous Golden Boy winners and seeing his name is just sad.

his forehead still astounds me He looks like his skull shape was formed by having it stuck in a traffic cone for years as a child.

Some of these are a bit iffy by the definition of flash in the pan. When I think of flash in the pan I think of Paul Warhurst...bought as a defender we played him as an emergency striker and he scored 12 in 12 and earned an England call up. Eventually his form dried out and he became a journeyman fullback but for a couple of months in 1992 he was the hottest name in English football.

I thought 'flash in the pan' just meant that a player was brilliant for a very short period of time, gained loads of popularity in the process and then just fizzled out never to be heard of again.
I think whoever's shout for Elano is spot-on for example.
