Not looking forward to the inevitable lazy articles that will come from this defeat, when the reality is Murray has done very well to get this far and put up that fight. Who doesn't love a bit of Federer-Nadal though? It's been a while in a slam hasn't it?

Gotta love Federer, everyone has been expecting a Bjorg where he would be so good he's just lose interest, retire at 28 before these amazing athletes would grind him out of the game. Still loves the game and is able to beat almost anyone on his day at 32 years of age. Brilliant. Only Nadal left too that I feel he wouldn't beat.

If there is a god he'll have Wawrinka beating Federer in the final, that would be superb to see. As it is we all know we'll see Nadal crushing Berdych in a dull as fuck game.

Berdych beating Federer would be best for me tbh. Something about Wawrinka I can't stand, Eurosport commentators were calling him a narcissist and since mentioning it I can't stop noticing how often he looks up at himself on the big screens. Plus Berdych is hilarious on Twitter.

Murray moves down to number 6 in the rankings, 7 if Federer gets to the final.
The player who lost in the second round jumps 2 places to 3rd in the world.

I actually quite like the rankings system, think it's very fair. Murray will jump right back up over the next few months because he didn't play much last year between the Aus Open and Wimbledon so all those tournaments he didn't score any points (or rubbish points) in last year will be new points to gain this year. Apart from the Miami Masters - which he won - he doesn't have anything much to defend up to Wimbledon and almost everything to gain as long as he's fit.

Shame Radwanska got battered by Cibulkova in her semi-final. Li Na also through to the women's final. Going to be quite an interesting match considering it's Cibulkova's first grand slam final whereas Na has reached this final twice before but is yet to win it.
Hoping Cibulkova can pull it off.

Radwanska Berdych Said Li Na and Berdych would get to the finals after the first few rounds (probably on Twitter if not in here) so I was half right. Tomorrow's match should be a stunner.

Out of interest why does everyone not like Nadal? Presume it's cos of the monotony of the same winner every time? I have to hate at least one top player to make it interesting. Love Federer and have so much respect for him as a player. Murray is the man and Djokovic is a funny character so I can't dislike him too much. That pretty much leaves Nadal, so yeah, FUCK NADAL!

Delighted for Wawrinka, he's been playing such good tennis for years but always seemed to struggle mentally more than anything. Have always been a Djokovic guy but never liked Berdych so was pulling for Wawrinka. Hoping Federer beats Nadal.
As for not liking Nadal, he's always seemed like a bad loser. I don't mean like Djokovic or Murray smashing raquets. I mean being a petulant bitch. I was at Wimbledon when he lost to Rosol, and he was a little shit about it as soon as it started not going his way. And his OCD 'quirks' irritate me. And his face. Have a friend of a friend in quite a low level, local journalist type position that has said of what was the "big four" Djokovic is the friendliest/most accommodating, and Nadal by far the least pleasant.

His arguments with Berdych and Soderling were petty as fuck too, again most of my dislike for him is on-court as off-court he's come across as quite relaxed, pleasant and fun.
Djokovic back when he used to do his imitations was a right laugh, has cut it out now but he's easily the most relaxed off-court so no surprises he comes across that way.

Nadal taking an age between points pisses me off as well.
