That last set was so strange. Cilic was better for a good 75% of it and somehow lost 6-1. Definitely an opportunity missed for him.
Federer now has the joint most Australian Opens, joint most Open Era US Opens and outright most Wimbledons. Madness.

It was a strange final really, in fact a strange tournament on the men's side. No real stand out matches bar maybe Dimitrov Krygios.
Federer gifted advantages with night games throughout and a closed roof but really, no one else is close to him.

Nadal, Murray, Djokovic, Zverev, Thiem, Kyrgios and Del Potro all on one side of the Wimbledon draw. Don’t think Federer could have picked it better if he’d tried. Still don’t think he’ll win somehow.

#UnpopularOpinion but I think Andrerson is in with a serious shot tomorrow. He’s shown multiple times this tournament he’s no mug on grass and I kind of think Djokovic will be spent emotionally as well as physically after that Nadal encounter.

I think likewise tbh, beaten him before too. You don't come from two sets down at Wimbledon Vs Federer unless you can play a bit.
I think he's got a better shot against Novak than Rafa too.
I'm all in for a Novak win though pls.

Good for Novak to get back to the top but I feel it would be good for tennis if one of the young guns stepped up and took the US Open.
