I know, 11 million on a young talented player how ridiculous. Next thing you know some team will be buying someone like Fellaini for 27 million.

£11m is surely still quite a lot for a back up player though. Granted he is young though so it's obviously to be expected. My point was that you'd expect a back up player costing that much to be good. Got no idea what Fellaini has to do with anything mind you

So I was making a comparison that 11 million for a bright looking young player isn't really that big any more, given you have players like Fellaini (and others) moving around for much more than they're worth. I wouldn't expect him to just be back up either next season, with how much we've been rotating Schurrle, Oscar and Willian lately.

Salah's too good to be backup. Did a number on us in the EL last year and still only 21/22 years old, too promising to spend the next 3 years on the bench.

We've rotated our 3 CAM's a lot this year. Mourinho even went on record saying that he wasn't be picked a lot this season because it'd take him 4/5 months to get into the right condition to be a consistently picked player. I think next year you'll see Hazard being the only one of the three that has a mostly permanent role. The others I'd expect to see a fair amount of game time each, especially if we have another crammed fixture list.

Wish you'd sold Cabaye in the summer. We could have had a nice NE gathering in the Championship. at the match there were people behind me talking about how they bet Cabaye's gutted now he's left because 'he never gets off he PSG bench'. hate the average football fan so much man. the fact that we are where we are in the league is testament to his and Remy's ability. and there are still people who think we have a chance of signing Remy in the summer as well haha in fact there was so much cretin-ry going on yesterday, large section of our support actually cheered De Jong off, and then later there were some boos for Shola coming on. as well as people getting on Gosling's back by about the 3rd minute basically for not being Cabaye. fucking pathetic man. not wasting my money on going to see them again this season. Stoke will be 3 points behind us when they beat us next week, if anyone gets good odds on us coming bottom half it's definitely worth a punt

The more I think about our attacking line, the more I want Theo Walcott in it. If he tracks back then he'd fit perfectly. Could fit in on the wings when Sterling or Coutinho don't play, adequate backup to Sturridge and Suarez up front and gives us a much better option than Victor Moses.

God knows what Liverpool have done to Moses. He was quality for Chelsea last season, especially in the Europa League. Maybe they've done what your lot have been doing to youngsters over the past X amount of years. Not played him much.

Fuck off, he's shite. Like you always call Torres shit, he was quality in the Europa League. He's an absolutely gash player who has no spatial awareness, shown when he tried to chip the ball over a Hull player right outside of his own penalty area. I defended him for the first couple of months but he was a waste of time.
It's mad how Matic has walked into that Chelsea team and been their best midfielder by a country mile. Didn't need him apparently.
