We were certainly in with a good shout for the top four at Christmas, not so sure on us being in the title race though.

League performance: Currently in 2nd with at least 3rd (and Europa League Qualification) sealed. In terms of budgets, size of club etc this is what we should be getting each season but in reality that hasn't been the case for so long. Good league performance. Cup performance: The League Cup Semi Final at Tynecastle will be something I remember for the rest of my life. We hadn't been to a final in 14 years and have failed in so many semi finals since then. Going ahead early with 13,000 Aberdeen fans in the best stadium in Scotland for atmosphere was perfect. That moment when Rooney's goal hit the net to make it 3-0 is undoubtedly one of the high moments of my life. Standing next to my best friends who I've suffered Aberdeen's cup disasters with for over 10 years the noises coming out of our mouth and looks on our faces as we realised we were finally going to get to see Aberdeen in a final together was incredible. The Cup Final itself was of course a great day too. I really don't remember much of the 120 mins but can re-live the penalties in my head perfectly. A truly epic bus journey home to an absolutely bouncing Aberdeen. The next time I slept I was in Southeast Asia. (Fakt) In the Scottish Cup we got to the semi final and that was back to our semi-final disappointment days. Going 1-0 up we really should have seen out that game and been looking forward to another epic day in May. Stand-out players: Peter Pawlett - His first season where he has avoided a proper long-term injury and the run of games in the team let him shine. Most exciting player I've seen play for us in a long time. Mark Reynolds - Solid as a fucking rock. Honestly can't believe he plays for us and is committed to us long-term. Criminal that he has been over-looked by Scotland. Russel Anderson - Many, including myself, had doubts over his age/fitness this season but he has been the captain fantastic we were used to before he left for Sunderland. Barry Robson - Just flat out controls any game he plays in. Willo Flood - Never stops running when we don't have the ball. He must make about 15 crucial interceptions every game. Adam Rooney - Signed in January and gave us the boost needed to take us over the line in the League Cup. Let down players: Alan Tate - Expected much more of him having a lot of experience in England. Is a total bombscare. Best performances: 4-0 v Partick (h) 4-3 v Inverness (a) (The first half - 4-0 up at HT) 4-0 v St Johnstone (League Cup Semi Final) 2-1 v Celtic (a) Worst performances
Any time we have played Hearts. Next season:Perofrmance-wise: Hopefully make a fight of it to get into the Europa groups. Depends entirely on how kind the draws are though. Otherwise, more of the same please. Players: We have most of our key players tied-up. Robson and Flood are out of contract but have said they are staying. Would expect Calvin Zola and/or Vernon to be out with either a new striker coming in or McManus/Shankland promoted properly to the 1st team.

10th place about where I expected to be. Got to the 3rd round of the FA Cup only to draw Port Vale and get knocked out by them.
Best games: Plymouth 5-0 Morecambe Fleetwood 0-4 Plymouth Neal Trotman's injury time winner at Mansfield.
Worst games: Exter 3-1 Plymouth Plymouth 1-2 Exeter Bury 4-0 Plymouth
Next season: Promotion please.

Since everyone cares about the Scottish League 1 and The Famous Glasgow Rangers One Of The Biggest Clubs In Europe ™ , and i have nothing better to do with my time, here we go:
League Performance:
Surely no one can complain about 102 points, 106 goals and 0 defeats and 3 draws all season? Wrong , we're fucking awful. Start of the season seemed okay, there was definite improvement from last and we actually seemed like we had tactics. That lasted about a month , maybe two. You could argue the tools have been down since December at least, but i cant remember the last decent performance we put in which in this league just isnt good enough. If you watch us we dont show any resemblance of tactics, a game plan or style. Ally seems to just look at his players wages, throw them out in their semi-favoured position and expect us to decimate everyone(Anyone but Ally will probably be a recurring theme.) Statistically maybe we have but since January and probably before then our performances have been absolutely disgusting. We wont win the championship next season with this squad and Ally McCoist, never in a million years.
Cups:
Embarrassing. League cup - forfar, who's centre backs are both 38 and one of them played for us nearly 10 years ago and now has no knee ligaments, put us out in the first round. Challenge Cup - i went to fucking shitty easter road to watch us lose in the fucking challenge cup final. Scotlands Johnstone Paint trophy or whatever. The most disgraceful cup final performance I've ever seen from anyone ever. Scottish Cup - completely played off the park by Dundee United. Dundee United who probably have similar squad value and wage bill to us yet have a young, talented, exciting, and attacking team in comparison to our simply pitiful team. The atmosphere resembled that of the old firm games and our old European night, im beginning to think i will never see us in the latter again.
Stand-out Players:
Lee Wallace: Way way way to good for us. Best left back in the country. Probably going to get a move and he deserves to. These players don't deserve to share the pitch with him.
Lewis Macleod: Does in fact deserve to share the pitch with Wallace and is equally too good for us. Fortunately i can see him staying and if Wallace is gone i'd give him the armband tbh. Excellent player, big future.
Callum Gallagher: Probably more of an honourable mention, but has been excellent in the last couple months since he broke through.
Let Down players doesnt cut it and tbh i dont have any expectations of any of the rest so instead :
Fucking Shite Players:
Everyone. But shoutouts too:
Ian Black: one of the 'spl class' players we're supposed to have. He's not. He's shite. Attempts a forty-yard Gerrard-esc pass everytime he gets the ball and fails every time. I hate him.
Arnold Peralta: Never hated a player more. Completely useless. He's going to the world cup. I give up on football.
Jon Daly: Lazy cunt and ive never seen someone score the ammount he has with the finishing ability he has/ completely lacks. 18 League goals and with the sitters he's missed he could have 78. I hate him. I want Boyd back, you have to be really shit to make me say that.
Richard Foster: What an incompetent cunt.
Best Performances:
Cant remember, probably a few games from August- October were semi-decent.
Worst Performances:
Pretty much all of them were awful.
Next Season: A new everything and anyone but Ally. Winning the 3rd Division and League 1 doesn't count, so this is now 3 seasons trophyless and and horrendous, aimless football - no Rangers manager should survive that. I don't even care how spoiled this whole post has come across, he needs to go. Seeing as we have no money though he'll probably stay, we'll sign more free agent Peralta's and scrap on up through the play-offs then proceed to being bitched by Celtic until they win 10 in a row and we'll probably finish 4th a few times. Or we will go bust again and go back to div 3. Footballs great fun ain't it.

Wrote out a long post and accidentally deleted it. Can sum it all up by saying we're bog standard and that Jermaine Beckford is a lazy wanker.

League: 6/10 Probably as tired of talking about it as other people are of hearing about it
Cups: 5/10 Pissed away a half-chance at something in the League Cup with the most one dimensional performance against West Ham, didn't arrive at the Emirates for the FA Cup, and once again made it to a game again real opposition in Europe and were shown up (albeit we were cheated out of it away from home, but I digress).
Stand-out Players:
Hugo - it will be a sad day when Ben Foster takes over the #1 shirt (or #25, I guess). Not too good for us in terms of where we want to be, but in terms of where we are at currently its just inevitable he'll be off. Eriksensensen - Complete talent. Should build the team around him for the next however long we can have him before Barcelona or someone come calling. Levy's probably licking his lips at the profit to be made on the lad. Adebayor - The invisible man-cum-Prodigal Son returneth. I don't give a hoot how much he wants to command in wages next year, we need to keep him if we have a chance at anything ever.
The Rest:
Kyle Naughton & Danny Rose are not footballers. Paulinho doesn't fit our system. SuperJan has had a poor season going by the standards set last year. Dembele is the laziest cunt and Aaron Lennon is serving little purpose in the team now that we don't have Bale on the other side. Where is Lamela? Oh that's right.. in Rome.
Best Performances: erm
Worst Performances: Hahahahaha, come on.
Next Season
5th or 6th I guess. Who really fucking knows anymore.

League: 95 points from 36 games is alright I suppose. Won the league in March. Winning the SPL obviously isn't really this massive achievement when you're Celtic but the team were largely impressive this season. 96 goals and only conceding 21 was fairly impressive, even by our standards in this shitty league. Even managed to not concede a goal for 13 league games in a row, setting a new Scottish record. Forster nearly broke the British record in that time for the amount of minutes he played without conceding. The biggest disappointment was losing that one game to those sheep-shagging bastards, Aberdeen. A near perfect league campaign excluding that one loss.
Europe: The less said about our CL campaign this year, the better. Didn't exactly get any luck in the draw (usual) but the only points picked up were at home to Ajax. No surprises there considering we sold the entire spine of our team in the one transfer window and only replaced one of them (with a better player than we had before right enough). We'll be back in the last 16 next year though...
Cups: Literally no idea how Morton put us out the league cup but they did. Then those sheep shaggers (again) beat us and put us out the Scottish Cup. Sound like I'm being a greedy bastard but it is quite shocking we haven't won a treble since the demise of Rangers when you consider the fact we probably have a bigger budget than the rest of the league combined. Lennon Out.
Stand Out Players: Kris Commons - Have no idea what happened to him or if the league really is just that shit but was the stand out player for us this season. There was a period for about 2 months when he seemed to the FGS in every game we played. Fraser Forster - 21 league clean sheets says it all. England's number 1 Virgil van Dijk - Signed for £2.6m and will be sold soon, hopefully for at least 3 times that. Also played a great part in why we kept so many clean sheets. Mikael Lustig - The best right back we've had since Agathe and it's a shame he was injured for large parts of the season. Deserving of a mention.
Shite Players: Boerrigter - Like seriously why the fuck did we sign a guy that was barely ever playing for Ajax's first team? Awful player. Samaras - He suffers too much from being Georgios Samaras
Best performances: Hearts 0-7 Celtic Motherwell 0-5 Celtic Celtic 3-0 Shakter Karagandy (against a shit team but coming from 2 down in the first leg, this was some night. Celtic 6 -0 ICT Partick Thistle 1-5 Celtic (winning the league in style in the big Glasgow derby).
Worst performances: Barcelona 6-1 Celtic (especially because we all know that Barcelona are shite) Celtic 0-3 Milan (we should have beat them at the San Siro then this happened? Pish). Aberdeen beating us 2-1, twice. Home and away.
Next Season: We'll win the league again and hopefully win at least one of the cups. A cup game against Rangers would be great because I'd love to hammer them before they undoubtedly come back up to the premier league. As for the Champions League, we better fucking qualify again for the money but can't see much more than that happening. Don't think this team is good enough to reach the knockout rounds.
Overall Rating: I'll go for a 7.5/10. Would have been lower if it wasn't for our impressive league form.
