Depressing to even think about this tbh. De Gea has been the only player who can hold his head up high after this season, Smalling (in CB), Welbeck, Rooney have all been decent enough too.
Biggest letdown is Michael Carrick, really thought he had grown a set of balls last season but he's been proper fucking cowardly this. If Van Gaal flopped it out and ran around the Bayern dressing room to show the team about cahonas fuck knows what he's gonna do when he faces up with Carrick.

10/10
League Performance: Started off quite shit. Rosler was rumoured to be getting the sack, but a clear the air talks after the loss to Stevenage changed our season and went on a 21 match unbeaten run. In the middle of that run Rosler went to Wigan but under Warburton we went up another level playing some of the best stuff I've ever seen from Brentford. That unbeaten run left us in the top 2 and we didn't look back and comfortably got promoted with 3 games to spare. AND WE AVOIDED THE FUCKING PLAYOFFS.
Cup Performance: We went out all the cups in the early stages as last year the cup runs fucked up our season a bit. No doubt that going out the cups early helped get us promotion.
Stand Out Players: Adam Forshaw will be a prem player in the next few years. Won League One player of the year and along with Bidwell was in the team of the year. Our January additions of Alan Judge and James Tarkowski brought us to another level and I'm in no doubt that Tarkowski will also play in the prem in a few years. Alan Mccormack is a horrible, dirty bastard but he is brilliant and is what we have been looking for for years.
Let Down Players: Got Will Grigg in the summer for around 300k which is big money for us and he has been poor. Also when Chuba Akpom came on loan I expected him to be very good from what everyone told me but he didn't really do anything.
Next season: First time we've been in the Championship for 21 years so a mid table finish I would be delighted with. Hopefully we can keep hold of Forshaw and Bidwell and carry on our policy of signing young players who haven't been given the chance at the big clubs, plus maybe the signing of a few strikers and another keeper. Last season at Griffin Park as well which will be sad.
I bet no one gives a shit that I've done this.

A complete embarrassment on and off the pitch.

Would depend on how we do in the play-offs. Ask me then.

Really, really crap.
Most losses since 1990, worse than I could have imagined or really anyone for that matter. A few picked for us to fall out of the top 4 alright, fair play to you, you were right. But even then most picked us for 5th then not 7th behind a poor Spurs team.
Lost seven games at home from winning basically every game at home last season.
Being a winger team without any wingers. Having no centre midfield of any standard at all. Having no full-backs of any use. Changing centre-back every week. Having three or four promising attacking midfielders and either playing none of them or making them play rigidly on the wing.
Having poor tactics which only highlights these deficiencies.
Very interesting season next year, tough to predict whether we'll come back strong and it was just a bad year or if it will take a long time to rebuild. Depends on the summer.

How has Griffiths got on shaunie? Does he play up top? I don't really rate Stokes that much especially when he doesn't have Hoopet beside him. Also Willian has been decent, puts in a really good shift and I know sometimes the tactics don't help but imo as an attacking midfielder he isnt worth 30million. Lacks a real end product sometimes. But its first season and I have no idea what he age but I think he'll only keep getting better. Would've liked to see morr Schurle this year tbh.

Instead of Willian we bought Eriksen for a third of the price.
Had a feeling at the time we'd dodged a bullet and although he's been alright, it's in a Chelsea side that's already stacked with league winners and proven talent and I couldn't see him actually carrying a creative workload the way Pope Chris does

When we had Cabaye and Remy both playing, we were pretty good. We had a midfielder who could create chances, and a striker who could score goals.
Once we got to the turn of the year though, a top half finish was looking remarkably comfortable so the team switched off. We sold Cabaye which meant any creativity was gone also, and our defence crumbled. Remy was the only player scoring goals, so naturally we signed a striker who hadn't scored a goal all season.
6 losses in a row, a lack of goals at home and a lack of enthusiasm or genuine willing from the team meant 2014 so far has been bloody awful. The fact we managed to beat Cardiff 3-0 shows just how poor they are really.
Incredibly frustrating season, we had a genuine opportunity to challenge for Europe but just threw it all away. Sick of the lack of ambition around the club at the moment.

@mikecfc I don't understand how you can put 4-0 against us as one of the best performances. Serious question, did you watch the match? You put in an absolute nothing performance?

Sounds like 95% of Chelsea games this season, at least they scored 4 in that one.
