Aguero for me, best end to a season in a while and he's almost impossible to knock off the ball when he wants, impressive for a little guy.

Rooney will be United's top goal scorer ever if he stays. He'll probably beat Charlton to England's record too. If you retire as top scorer for both Manchester United & England then that's enough to leave a legacy. possibly Premier League all time top scorer aswell? 97 off overtaking Shearer might be a bit of an ask though.

No doubt it's between Rooney and Aguero. Rooney probably shades it cause he's English

Aguero for me. Guy's a monster, and I'll never forget when he first came on for City I was telling my Mom how great he was and even predicted him to get a goal. In the end I think he got 2 and an assist! Just the one iirc... although it was a screamer about 5 mins after coming off the bench against Swansea

Edit: Aguero for me aswell, although it was tough to choose between him and Rooney.

Gone with Aguero. For me he's probably the most exciting player in the league, if he keeps it up it would have to be him. Oh and the league winning goal.

Rooney has been there by the far the longest, 5 league wins, will probably break the United goalscoring record.
I don't think Suarez will be most 'fondly' remembered but he will possibly be one of the most remembered in history for a number of reasons.

Definitely got to go for Aguero, when fit he is unstoppable. Others would be the obvious ones in Rooney as he is the only world class striker England has had since Owen and Shearer imo. Then Suarez for two reasons, his ability but also his behavior (not forgetting his bite on Ivanovic).

I think if we're talking about fans in general Rooney and Aguero, as the poll shows, will be the big ones mainly due to the former being an England player and the latter being that good. Suarez's reputation is already sullied far too much for him to get that sort of romanticism around him.
However I've voted for Remy on the basis that if he stays at Newcastle and scores a sackful of goals he'll be the new Shearer and we'll never hear the end of it. Also he could do an Andy Cole and end up somewhere better and leave a great legacy.

Voted for Rickie Lambert mostly to be different but also because he will be a folk hero on the south coast until the day that he dies.
On the main issue I personally feel like Rooney will definitely be much more fondly remembered than Aguero in a few year's time even though he isn't quite in his class as a striker and doesn't have his singular moment simply because he had two immense seasons and is English. Plus when Aguero moves to Barca or Real the love from the Citeh supporters is going to dry up a bit.

erm he'll be a folk hero for a lot longer than till he dies.
The bloke has scored over 100 goals in 4 years, taking us from the 3rd division back into the Premiership. He proved a lot of people wrong by scoring 15 goals in his first season there, then proved even more people wrong when he got his chance for England and took it by scoring with his first touch in an England shirt.
He is an absolute legend and is on par with Matt Le Tiss.

I changed my mind to Rooney. I think the positives will outweigh the negatives in the end even if he is a Manc. I just can't see Aguero staying and really writing his story at city.
