Donegal man living in Belfast 7 years now please ask me for recommendations when visiting next time (spoiler: my recommendation is always “go to Donegal it’s class”)

Belfast is the biggest hellhole on earth, why anyone would go there on holiday is baffling.

Couple of days in Eindhoven for the UWCL final sorted - looks like a decent enough city.
Also thinking of booking a few days away in Seville late May. Always wanted to visit as it looks beautiful but not sure if there's enough to warrant four days? Anyone been and, if so, could help me decide between a day in Cordoba/Cadiz on top?

There’s barely enough in Seville to do a weekend. It’s a nice city but very little to do. The last time I was there was post-Madrid 2019 though so there might be more there now
Cadiz is nice, as is Granada but they’re different sides of the region to each other and Andalucía is massive. Out of Cadiz and Cordoba though I’d go to Cordoba definitely
I’d recommend Malaga above anything in Andalucía though tbh. I was there in January and even then it was lovely. Go down to the marina and there’s loads of nice bars and restaurants and enough in the city itself to do touristy stuff

Did Malaga last year (and loved it) but Seville was probably the last big city to see before moving to seeing the North.
Tbh factoring in travelling I'll have 3 and a half days free, so I should be fine if I use one day for one of them.
I was hoping you'd say Cadiz tbh because I'd quite like the beach/sea but also aware that Cordoba might be something I regret not visiting.

Loool went back two pages and Paul had been to Malaga once and hated it but on here is recommending it to me and IG is talking about it being hot but beautiful (and I had fully forgotten I'd asked previously).

Hahaha I got a completely different experience this year to be fair. I was there for 4 days and did loads while I was there as opposed to the previous time I’d been which was just for a day and mainly for the football

Honestly I think it's probably only just behind Madrid for me, I properly loved it. Has literally everything you need within walking distance. Given their history, probably fortunate that I'm flying out the day after the gran derby, think I might be able to get to a Betis midweek game but the ticket prices are INSANE.

Did Seville a few weeks back.
Gorgeous, gorgeous city. It was mid 20's and raining so we got mostly lucky but at times the sun was still unbearable.
Plaza de Espana was incredible, as were the random performers and flamenco. Was disappointed with the food - we couldn't actually get in to some places we wanted to as they had random midweek closures.
Did a day trip to Cordoba. Probably wouldn't recommend it, as impressive as the Mesquieta was it was quite pricey. As were most things actually, surprised how expensive everything was.
Was meant to then be in Eindhoven for the UWCL final last weekend but one of us came back with a bad chest infection so we binned it off. Missed a blinder of a game but Eindhoven looked naff tbh so not too gutted to miss it.
Plus the final next year is in Bilbao which was already next on my list of places to go in Spain 😍

Been violently ill the last few days that we’ve been in Mexico and now our flight has been cancelled because of an issue with the plane. I’m fine with it because it’s free time off work and we’ll get compensation but I’ve also got the shits

Didn't think Germany had it too bad compared to Southern Europe. Italy has been varied too but when it's not been hot it's been rainstorms 😂
