Man City to finish 4th
Arsenal to finish at least 2nd
Watford to stay up
All three of the promoted teams in League 1 to stay up in the Championship
Likewise for League 2 into League 1
Newcastle to get the most red cards in the Premier League
Straightforward-ish.

Crystal Palace for top 8 or a cup.
Two Newcastle players to hit 10+ league goals.
Total PL January spending to be lower than last year.
Man Utd to spend all season technically in the title race, but top spot always being just out of reach.
A team to be relegated who are in at least their third consecutive PL season.
Bournemouth to stay up.

Schneiderlin is guaranteed, the rest could go either way honestly. I think Depay could be great and Schweinsteiger has his huge reputation but imo Schneiderlin is your best signing and the only one I think who is coming in and is going to improve United straight away. I don't think Schneiderlin is any more guaranteed to be a success than the rest of them. Schweinsteiger is probably the most likely to be a miss of all of them because it is always risky moving to a new foreign league after 30 for the first time. But he also has a chance to be a massive hit because well he's Schweinsteiger. Happy with Depay and Darmian, see no reason to doubt them. Not too excited about Romero but who knows what will happen with United's goalkeeping situation.

Time to get your predictions in ahead of the 2015/16 season but I don't just want the generic safe predictions, I want your wildest, big statements about what you think might happen this year. No prediction is too silly. Don't be the arsehole who says 'I thought that would happen, I just didn't say it', say it here. They can be based on any league, they can be specific to your club or general football predictions. A top 3 will be decided at the end of the season judged on accuracy and ambition of the prediction. You can make up to SIX 'big statements'. Mine are as followed: Did really bad at this! The spirit of my first one was right, Chelsea to underachieve. West Ham, couldn't have been much more wrong. Le Fondre one was a good shout - he only scored 3 in 17 for Wolves! Stoke & Palace over Tottenham was another awful prediction. Freedman did get sacked, later, and not because he was that awful but just because of unrealistic owners. Last one was really bad too - 1st, 3rd, 9th, 10th - 4 of the 7 teams finished top half... at least we finished bottom!

We'll not qualify for the CL group stage. Hibs will finish no higher than 3rd, Stubbs sacked. Schweinsteiger will flop. Benitez will get the sack. Leeds will win the play offs. Arsenal will start off well, leading to claims they'll "piss the league" but they'll still finish over 10 points behind whoever wins it. Yes Yes, No Yes Yes No No, but they did finish 10 points off Leicester

Mourinho to be sacked after falling out with Abramovich over Chelsea Champions' League flop number (what will it be? six?) six and perennial shithouse football. Basically, they're like that couple who got back together for the kids but are still fundamentally incompatible because they just want different things and are too old and stubborn to change. Also, above all else Man Utd to flop badly. Please. If there is a god. In hindsight this wasn't a million miles off.

Dougie Freedman won't be sacked by January. Probably not long after that though. Arsenal will win the league. Forest will finish above Derby. Derby won't go up. West Ham will get relegated (Copying Jimbo but he's right) Bournemouth will stay up comfortably. Literally spot on. Totally wrong. Totally wrong. Yes. Oh dear. I'm taking this one too.

Chelsea will win the league by a greater margain then last season Have a bet on this, meself. All over it as well. Chelsea will win the league by a greater margin than last season. Stoke to finish above Everton. Bolton to be bottom at the start of September and go on to be relegated. Only did 3, I'll let lgig have the first one cos he said it before me. 2/2 then!

Arsenal to win Champions League. Atletico Madrid to finish 2nd. Benteke top league goalscorer. Liverpool to reach final of Europa League. Guardiola to Man City confirmed before the end of the season. Dortmund to finish within 10 points of Bayern. 3/6. Dortmund finished 10 points off Bayern compared to 33 the season before.

vidal will be signing of the season (dno if this can be classed as a big statement but fuck it) kane will get 12 max goals in all competitions, mostly coming from europa league city will easily win the league with that front 4 spurs will struggle to score goals but still end up finishing 6th palace and stoke will start off well with the media claiming they can make the top 4 and drop off like west ham did last year, both will still finish in the top 10 tho eh lol lol way off first part kinda correct i guess

Neither Chelsea or City to finish in the top two. Rooney will be United's top scorer in history come the end of the season. Pellegrini won't last the season, Bayern will get knocked out of the CL again, leading to Guardiola joining City next summer. Leeds United will get promoted. Benteke to out score Kane, if he plays every week. Southampton won't make top 10. Mine started so well...
