I'll hold off to see exactly what is going to change but I'm not holding my breath for anything major. It's ridiculous to think that so many people voted against our own country's independence. No country in history has ever voted against its own independence. It's fucking embarrassing. Pretty sure that is factually untrue. Quebec definitely has done off the top of my head. Quebec was never a country but so on a technicality I was right ha....

Genuinely gutted for them but I hope they continue being so involved in the democratic process. It's disheartening for sure but it's a reminder that for all the bullshit with the elite and out of touch politicians, the people still hold the power. Hopefully Scotland doesn't forget that.
Backtracking on devomax already lol, fucking Tories man

So they haven't even gone? The only things I read about it were from this thread so I assumed it was an EZ YES vote.

Was never going to be a clear Yes. Pretty incredible that they got 45% of the vote really when you consider where the campaign started

I'm genuinely gutted haha. Wouldn't have been so bad had there never been a referendum but things will only get worse now I reckon.

Don't want to get too political so I'll just say this: The right thing happened for both Scotland and the United Kingdom. Glad the majority of Scotland saw sense, although I do understand the reasons for voting yes.
