Currently living with my Mum, but I'm in the process of buying a 1 bed flat for myself which should hopefully be completed by January. I feel old.
Moving back home after uni was hard to acclimatise to too, especially when I spent my post-grad year living in a flat on my own. Looking forward to getting out again.

2nd year of uni had 3 guy mates that I was gonna move in with this year but 2 dropped out before completing 1st year and the other got asked to move in with some of his hockey team mates which was fair enough managed to get in a house of 5 with 2 others I was living with in 1st year and 2 of their mates, everything was all sound until 2 of them dropped out as well so I'm currently in a house with 1 person I lived with last year, 2 of the drop outs mates and a randomer we had to draft in not the best but I can deal with it probably look to go back on campus for final year if I can Sounds similar to my 2nd year. Living in a house flopped majorly and I went back on campus in the third year with all the freshers, which was great

Living with mum & little brother right now. Once my little brother finishes junior school she wants to downsize though, which effectively means me leaving. I'm cool having 18 months notice.

Moved into my new flat now, it is awesome as well. Did not realise the TV there is 3D Although never watched 3D TV so don't know what it will be like. Cuts my drive to work by about 10 minutes as well, making it 35-45 minutes which is nice.

Next year I'm going to Murcia for a year for uni. Gonna be a big test for me after finding Manchester so difficult. If in enjoy it, I'm gonna save up for staying there another year or two post-uni. I am so fucking jealous of you man. Going abroad for a year for uni is the best thing I've ever done. Is it just yourself or is there someone else from your uni going? Do you get accommodation set up yourself or is it organised for you?

notpropaganda you've moved away permanently, shouldn't be jealous of anyone! It's just me going until a few come later in the year. Studying in a uni there while working as well. It's sort of half and half with the accommodation. We find where we want to live and the uni help us sort out our placement there. Rent is dirt cheap supposedly, people were paying €200 for 5-bedroom houses with en suites and everything.

I moved to Wales at the start of the year for a new job, currently living with my fiancee in a 2 bed house. Saving up to buy a property, hopefully next year.

I'm living in a 1 bed flat atm. Tempted to look for a house share somewhere down the line so I have more money to play with each month but, as people have said, giving up the privacy would be hard.

I'm one of the few old cunts on here with a mortgage by the looks of it.
Bought a block of land in one of the better suburbs of the city I live in about 6 months ago and I'm currently in the process about getting ready to build. Currently living with Mum & Dad for a nominal rent ($50 a week) whilst I'm building the house which I'm hoping will be done and dusted by this time next year. So 12 more months until I'm a homeowner (already got the land!). Lovely block of land, 600 square metres in the middle of suburbia, easy access to the highway so it's only an hour's drive to the big smoke in Melbourne (I live in a smallish city called Geelong - everything is done in the much bigger city down the road in Melbourne, so being easy distance from it is a big plus), 30 minute commute to work each morning which is nothing in Australian terms (keep hearing you lot talk about living 5 minutes from work - insane!) so that's a plus. Downside is that there is nothing out here lol - it's purely residential. Pubs are at least 15 minute drive away which is a fucking nightmare. Anyway, small price to pay for a cracking piece of dirt - planning to spend the next 20-30 years here tbh. Move once and do it properly the first time etc etc.

Bought a house with my gf in July, mortgage and all. Both earning enough to sustain our social lives/hobbies after mortgage payments and bills so all is good.
