thought sturridge had shook off the whole greedy thing and taking tough shots on where theres tap ins elsewhere class player but what a greedy shit It was one case. Other than that he's been quite a team player, when he's had to be. once yesterday where suarez had a tap in.. and the bournemouth game where there were two players lining up yet tries taking it on the outside of his foot straight at the keeper, suarez was rightly going mad at him then too

Can't blame him for that Bournemouth one. And that Suarez one last night is a very difficult pass, brilliantly defended. Only fault is not laying on Coutinho, not the ball to Suarez.

why can't you blame him aha? all it is is being greedy taking on a challenging shot when a team mate has a tap in, and nah last night if thats played first time its a simple pass to suarez, took too long on it

Coutinho probably would have spooned it wide anyway, but the pass to Suarez was definitely on, he was just never going to play it.

Because it's an easy chance for him, he just executed it poorly.
It's never a simple pass to Suarez, Stones is right in between Suarez and the keeper, where is he meant to put it?

watch it again, stones wasnt in between until sturridge decided to take 3 or 4 touches and make a chance for himself, after the first few touches yes the defenders in the way

He's a striker, it may be frustrating (I was screaming at Rodgers to drag him off ha) but they'll all be greedy at times. It's what makes them goal scorers. Thankfully he's getting the majority of his decisions right though.

oh, it's because he "doesn't know the players". ringing endorsement of our internationals that. could be wrong but I'm almost certain when trying to convince everyone (himself included) that he deserved the job he was saying that he 'knew the club inside out' , I'd assume that would include the players he's been around as backroom staff for years precisely. it's a farce i'm genuinely flabbergasted he's in charge. he seems to want to emulate city (admirable) but doesn't seem to have the faintest idea why city work so well. maybe he'll be a good manager somewhere, but we shouldn't give him the platform to cut his teeth.

oh yeah agreed they all need to have a bit of it about them, but at some point it'll cost you points, as i said he's been great this year but he is v v greedy
must be so frustrating watching as a pool fan tbh

it's hardly an outlandish statement to make though, only team i can think that could be argued as being better then City am is Bayern We'll see when they play Barcelona. All to prove that they're better than Barcelona? Or Real Madrid. Those three are ahead until the likes PSG or Man City show otherwise in Europe. Were shown up a bit against Bayern in CL earlier in the year and I think they'll lack the experience in the CL. Will be a great game though.

But his assist for Suarez against Stoke and his general desire and work rate last night showed me he definitely isn't a greedy player.

Childish obviously there are exceptions where a red is necessary, but your average penalty like Rose today is a yellow card offence and city have their goal scoring opportunity back. Don't see the need to punish a player and side 3 times for an incident like that. Yeah by and large I agree. My only issue is you give referees the chance to interpret things like if it's a red or a yellow then you just let the door for more poor decisions unfortunately.

Impressive but Bayern were already through and have been known to get complacent, similarities with Arsenal last year. Man City have so much more to prove for such a claim, Bayern have won everything they've entered for a year.
