Childish obviously there are exceptions where a red is necessary, but your average penalty like Rose today is a yellow card offence and city have their goal scoring opportunity back. Don't see the need to punish a player and side 3 times for an incident like that. Yeah by and large I agree. My only issue is you give referees the chance to interpret things like if it's a red or a yellow then you just let the door for more poor decisions unfortunately. Just to put it out there, they already in many cases have to judge whether or not it was an obviously goalscoring opportunity, and manage to get that wrong fairly frequently, so it won't really make much difference, to be honest.

I thought the performance at Home to Liverpool was bad, that was another level of shite.

So the FA have decided to uphold Loic Remy's 3 game ban but they've decided to rescind Bradley Johnson's red. Stupid, that. Should be both appeals rejected or rescinded, not one or the other.

On the one hand, I'm glad we're appealing the red card because I genuinely don't believe that the referee/lino gave the penalty for the right reason. Was a booking at most.
One the other hand, Rose has been shite all season so any time he spends out of the first xi is time I'll take

If he gave it for the foul, which it was, then appealing it could just lead to a worse ban for him, which regardless of how good or bad he has been, you definitely don't want with Europe coming back next month.

Wrist pull is a bit iffy for me, can't tell if its enough to bring him down or if he made a meal of it. The trailing leg catching him is the foul sure but considering he'd already got the ball surely its only a yellow? I think they just assumed he went straight through him with both legs to get to the ball which it looked like in real time.
Either way, if its turned down and he gets a bigger ban again I'm pretty confident we'll be no worse without him in the league. Been shocking since he's come back.
Will he be banned in Europe if the ban is increased? I'm not sure I follow that. Plus it's Dnipro.

daveyposhboy it won't count for Europe, but what I mean is that you don't want whoever fills in there to struggle having to play maybe three games a week, rather than being able to rotate them.

So cringeworthy how they lap up Jose's comments. Can't stand Fat Sam Allardycio but he's got it spot on there. Apart from "out tacticticed him"

What was it he was saying where he just started blurting some nonsensical noise and they burst into laughter? So far up his arse it's annoying.

Mourinho can't say anything about West Ham not coming to play football when he pretty much sent his Real Madrid team out to kick Barcelona off the park every El Clasico.

Wow, fucking Black and Decker. What a cunt.
Various Serie A and La Liga fans have said despite managing some of the best teams in those leagues he was one of the most negative managers in the league at the time. Teams who are constantly battling relegation have a better go against the bigger teams. West Brom went to Old Trafford and won, Arsenal went to attack and were unlucky to lose. Chelsea went there to avoid defeat. He disgusts me.
