Everything Everywhere All at Once is the best film I've seen since Jojo Rabbit. Absolutely spectacular.

An Cailín Ciúin/The Quiet Girl definitely took me by surprise. I sort of assumed all the praise was very Irish-centric but it’s a really excellent film, beautifully shot and filled with little moments and details I’ll be thinking about for a long time

Just put it on now. Saw a clip of Anthony Edwards the other day, hadn’t realised what it was all about beforehand having seen it advertised on Netflix
Juancho is the last person I’d expect to play the main player in a basketball-themed film though lol

Good film that. I always find it mad how much better athletes have become as actors (ignoring both Space Jam films). Anthony Edwards was just playing himself basically but Juancho has surprised me there. Unfortunately he’s gonna be more well known for that than his actual career probably because he’s a below average player lol but he wasn’t just there to make up the numbers
Always think Sandler is a great dramatic actor as well, even though Click is supposed to be a comedy it’s my guilty pleasure and he’s great in that dramatically

Yeah it's a weird one, like I'm in no rush to go back and watch it again and I can't pick out any particular thing that I'd say was amazing in it - but I sat down and watched it from start to finish and wanted to watch it till the end, which is rare for me these days.
And yeah I can't watch Click again having been burned with a cinema trip to see it and balling my eyes out.

Top Gun: Maverick surpassed my expectations. Bit late to the party watching it like but that’s exactly what I’d hope for a sequel to Top Gun, the advancements in technology have made that a film that properly separates itself from a lot of other modern military films

Just watched Bullet Train. Most fun I've had watching a film in ages.

Jack black seems an inspired choice for bowser, same for Charlie day. Film looks good, though I hope Chris Pratt gets better than he was during the trailer.

You can really tell Martin McDonagh is a playwright first off when you watch Banshees of Inisherin. I loved it but I am surprised at the universal praise it's getting, it's not undeserved I just didn't expect it, feels like such a particular Irish story

It's the only film out the week of my birthday so I booked tickets ages ago without knowing anything about it so I'm pleasantly surprised to find out it's actually going to be good

Three years late but I’ve just seen Jojo Rabbit for the first time. What a lovely, lovely film
