Really does show the quality of boxer that Fury is in that he's bested Wilder twice now but in very different ways. First fight he danced round him with finesse, picking his shots and keeping out of range; this fight he used strength and power to aggressively break him down.

Could tell after the first knockdown that Wilder was getting more and more desperate to land a huge punch cos that was his only chance, by the 5th he was doing well just to stay alive out there though

That was the first thing I thought after the fight, usually a fighter has a very specific style that he can of course tweak but can’t completely switch up. I always remember Floyd backing up Victor Ortiz because Ortiz couldn’t fight off the back foot despite being a bit of an animal on the front foot. Fury has fought in 2 completely different styles and arguably dominated more in the 2nd style that he’s less known for. I don’t think he should do that against Joshua though, better off going back to his dancing but maybe with the same jab as last night if he can get leverage behind it because his jab was superb. He threw so many body shots for a big man as well, you look at the likes of Joshua, Klitschko etc and they almost never throw body shots.

He threw so many body shots for a big man as well, you look at the likes of Joshua, Klitschko etc and they almost never throw body shots. Absolutely. It's what makes him so dangerous now moving forward. He's shown he can fight to an elite standard in polar opposite styles, he's got the adaptability to follow whatever fight plan is needed to expose his opponents weakness. That's a headache to anyone but it's harder to find that fluidity in the HW division and most people won't know what to do against it. Agree re: Joshua. I would imagine he would go back to the hit and move/cause frustration style that worked so well in the first fight against Wilder. I don't think Joshua would know what to do with him. Mate that jab and those body shots though...each jab snapped Wilders head back and the work to the body was brutally efficient. We watched him systematically and ruthlessly tear that man down and it was honestly beautiful. I'm watching it again as soon as I get home from work haha.

We watched him systematically and ruthlessly tear that man down and it was honestly beautiful. I'm watching it again as soon as I get home from work haha. The jab was ridiculous loool, I'm wondering if it's just because he was walking forward so was able to get everything behind it? He's always had a decent and annoying jab but it was more of a flick before, if he goes back to his dancing style I wonder if it would be the flick jab again. Would be amazing if he went back to dancing but still was able to step in with that jab at times.
Hopefully his new team will actually implement different gameplans and they aren't just set on him fighting this way. Like you say if he moved like the first fight I don't think Joshua would touch him, he could actually do a mix of the two because Joshua always tires(when he's actually in a fight), fight off the back foot for the first 6 rounds and then come forward when Joshua starts tiring and really put it on him.
Man's a chameleon, heavyweight version of Andre Ward.

Speaking of Andre Ward, after the fight last night his exact words were "Tyson Fury is the truth and the best heavyweight on the planet". Andre Ward isn't the type to just say shit like that without giving it thought and actually meaning it.
