Not a fan, bit blocky in places with the purple and not a patch on the camoflague livery at all.

I like the Red Bull logo on the side.
Looking forward to Lewis making it number three this season.

Think Nico has him this year, faster in testing, and Hamilton has both his break-up and contract negotiations to worry about. Plus can't help but feel they'll be leaning towards giving Rosberg a better-than-equal chance of it. As for the Red Bull, it could have been this ;

Also, after covering the most mileage during winter testing Toto Wolff said earlier that they did it all one a single engine unit.
Gonna be an absolute procession this year.

Yeah there's no way it was as minor as they first said it was if he's missing the grand prix.
Don't agree that Rosberg will win it this year, Hamilton was ridiculously unlucky last year and still took it. He's just a superior driver imo.

Bit of fun but been trying to work out in my head what the starting line-up will be like in Aus, what do we reckon?
1. Nico Rosberg (Merc) 2. Lewis Hamilton (Merc) 3. Valtteri Bottas (Williams) 4. Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) 5. Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari) 6. Felipe Massa (Williams) 7. Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull) 8. Romain Grosjean (Lotus) 9. Jenson Button (McLaren) 10. Max Verstappen (Toro Rosso) --------------------------------- 11. Danil Kyvat (Red Bull) 12. Carlos Sainz Jr (Toro Rosso) 13. Pastor Maldonado (Lotus) 14. Kevin Magnussen (McLaren) - assuming it will be him? 15. Marcus Ericsson (Sauber) --------------------------------- 16. Nico Hulkenberg (Force India) 17. Felipe Nasr (Sauber) 18. Sergio Perez (Force India) 19. Will Stevens (Manor) 20. Whoever his team-mate is...

I think you're massively underestimating Kyvat there. Have you done the predicting thing Djed posted?

Yep, nothing against Kyvat but I like to be different and usually at the start of the season there's a surprise or two. Think the 2 Merc's, Ferrari's and Williams' will be there and Ricciardo will do enough. Lotus are good and the McLaren is quick enough to do well on one lap and I just fancy Verstappen to pull a surprise.

Sounds like we're in for a shit year if Mercedes are so far in front, will catch the Australian GP but if it's looking wildly predictable, probably won't watch much F1 this year.
See if they did just top 6 getting points like it should be then at least Vettel, Kimi, Massa, Bottas, Ricciardo, Kyvat, Alsono & Button would have some great battles for the points & at least create some interest in who finishes 3rd at the end of the year. As it is, pretty much every fucker gets points and dilutes the meaning & importance attached to them and the only interest that sparks is, can a bottom team get in the points once over the course of the season.

Idk I think Rosberg/Hamilton will still be a great battle and the cars behind are extremely close so there'll be good battles

Spanish media ablaze with rumours of a boycott from all teams in Melbourne as there's a fear that Alonso's crash was caused by the energy recovery systems the cars are using. There were rumours almost immediately that he suffered an electric shock that knocked him unconscious just before he crashed, and although they've been denied the teams are concerned by the lack of information that has been released by McLaren about the incident.
The BBC has reported that Alonso was changing down the gears and braking with full force as he went off, and that he'd taken a different line than on previous laps but there's still multiple questions there.
Don't think anything will come of it, but it does give me the chance to post that Alonso's first comments after he came around were "I'm a kart driver who one day wants to drive a Formula 1 car".

This, somehow, is not a photoshop; Fun news coming out from Sauber the past few days too. They promised (and apparently signed contracts) Van Der Garde and Sutil a race seat this season. But obviously, they've taken the money from Nasr and Ericsson and signed them to a contract too. This isn't all that unheard of, Ferrari had signed Alonso for another year but paid him off to leave early, they had Kimi signed for an extra year when they brought in Alonso so paid him to go rallying. But Sauber don't have that money, the reason they took on Nasr and Ericsson was purely financial. I'm guessing under the assumption that Sutil and VDG would just let it lie. VDG hasn't, took it to court, but oddly instead of demanding a financial settlement, he's had his contract enforced and Sauber are legally obliged to give him a race seat. The problem here is that they have 3 other drivers who also have similar contracts, all of which obviously can't be enforced. A messy situation that's only gonna be resolved when two of the four drivers buckles and takes a pay-off. As to who that is is anyone's guess, but I'd imagine Sutil isn't too arsed and wants a pay off, and VDG will use this judgement as leverage for a big pay off given he spent last season as a reserve driver specifically waiting for a seat this year.
