Since we're having a discussion about different sports in the rugby thread, what would be your favourite sports to follow?
1. Football just over no.2 2. Golf 3. Gaelic Football 4. Tennis 5. Athletics
I quite like darts, snooker, international rugby, hurling.
Casual interest in certain elements of boxing and swimming in the Olympics.

1. Football 2. NFL By a distance 3. Quite like tennis but don't get to watch it much 4. Athletics 5. Cricket probably
I watch so much football (of both types) that I rarely have time for others aside from the summer.
I'm gonna give rugby another go, I watched england-wales last week and it was dreadful but maybe it was just that game. Used to watch a lot of snooker, can enjoy the darts and always end up watching the big boxing fights but I don't really like it. Got quite a knack for picking winners though, despite knowing nothing about it.

At the minute it's probably
1. Boxing 2. NFL 3. Football
anything after that is a distant 4th. I'll watch the Ashes and sometimes I'll watch the later stages of the Rugby World Cup but apart from that I don't watch any other sports.

NFL Football College Football (does that count?) Tennis F1
Probably the only 5 I follow with any interest whatsoever. Quite bad at actually watching tennis or f1 nowadays too
Footballs-wise, watching Spurs still probably grabs me the most in terms of emotional investment but I'd rather sit and watch 6 hours of RedZone than 6 hours of Premier League games

NFL Tennis Grand Slams Football Darts Major boxing major golf
Tried to boil it down into stuff I actually watch at all. Athletics only really comes with a world championships or Olympics so felt a bit misleading putting that
Edit: shite

Tbh I watch so little these days that I use this place to steal opinions about all the things I haven't seen for when I'm inevitably asked about my thoughts on the "big match" by the watercooler at work on a Monday morning.
Failing to engage in rugby bants with the boss isn't really an option right now with appraisals just around the corner.

Football > F1 > Cricket > Rugby Union
I think over the past few years my interest with football has burnt out. I used to watch other leagues and pretty much most of the TV games for Premier League... But these days I just seem to follow only Utd games and the big games.
F1 probably was my joint favourite with Football when I was younger but I got put off temporarily by it with the Ferrari/Schumacher dominance then by Red Bull/Vettel dominance and probably again soon by Hamilton/Merc dominance.
I definitely tune in for the Ashes and usually when England play the likes of India or SA.
I've never ever been able to fully get into Rugby Union despite my whole family being that . I'm somewhat lucky in the way that Wales have always been a roller coaster of a side, for me to keep some interest. Also the majority of their matches are never boring.

Football Basketball NFL F1 GAA
Some days I prefer watching basketball to football but mainly because games are much easier to watch in American sports than it is to watch football here.

I'm gonna give rugby another go, I watched england-wales last week and it was dreadful but maybe it was just that game. To be honest if you didn't like that game you're probably not gonna like rugby, or at least Test match rugby. Big games like that, especially between 6nations sides tend to turn into those kind of games that is all about physicality and just emptying yourself on the pitch. The Welsh try was brilliant mind you... Like that match has been called one of the greatest RWC matches of all time lol If you get a chance give Japan v South Africa a watch, I dunno if there's an iPlayer type thing for ITV that you can watch the full match, because it was sensational

Football by a clear mile.
Tennis, but usually only if it's Murray/Djokovic/Nadal/Federer. Athletics, again only if it's a track event. NFL. But only redzone. Struggle to sit and watch a full game with adverts and Sky analysis. Cricket, but only England.
