its mental when you get to the point suarez is now where he can have a bad patch and not score for 5 games and still have more goals than games. 17 in 11 is he up to now? and he's assisting as well, he's absolutely unreal. For me his form puts him in the top 3 in the world at the moment, and with messi injured its a tossup between him and ronaldo. Noone is playing better right now.

no what i mean is if he goes on to have a bad patch he'll still have a ridiculously good record because hes so far ahead of himself.

Isn't Ronaldo the top goalscorer with 31?
Suarez is on to completely smash that at the moment.

Hell man, it's not like I wanted him to be a failure. I believed in the guy so, so much, and it's just sad how it's seeming to reach this inevitability. Maybe it's because he got an unfair amount of abuse after being appointed, maybe it's because he has shown signs of being amazing but mostly it's because I really, really thought he'd lead us to something good. Yeah I can still remember the first game under him I went to last year I think against West Brom and the crowd weren't giving him a chance. Heckled him to shit man, it's disgusting. The moneybag knobs in the west stand and on twitter etc will keep moaning as its only them that most media outlets give a voice too but I'll lose all motivation to go if is he is sacked before the end of the season. I have a genuine fear that your prophecy about him being at another club talking about the mistakes at Spurs which led him to being a great will come true.

if I'm not wrong, and he carries on in the same vein this season, Suarez would be the first top scorer in the Premier League era with a record better than a goal per game. Well, Shearer and Ronaldo jointly hold the record for a 38 game season with 31 goals, and Suarez is already halfway there. Good company to be in if he manages it.

The fact he could, realistically, have scored more than Henry, the greatest striker in Premier League history, managed in an entire season by the end of February just scares me. He's only been back two and a half months.

What a player, and I have said it nearly every week. What an outstanding performance from the team. Everyone performed well, I was pleased with Sakho at the back and Johnson was terrific getting forward and keeping Chadli quiet. Our games away to Chelsea and City are huge, I'm not expecting anything from either of those games but if we do get points it would put us in a great position for 4th.
Liverpool fans, think we'll sign anyone in January? If so, who would you like us to sign?

I hope we do, but I've no idea who.
Still think we need a few extra attacking options because Moses, Alberto and Aspas may as well not show up. Sterling blows hot and cold, but more cold.

Stunning performance today, think we've outdone City yesterday. Although Spurs aren't playing well we've utterly dismantled a very good team. I was worried about the midfield 3 today but they were all brilliant, especially Henderson

'Very good' teams don't lose by five goals at home.

'Very good' teams don't lose by five goals at home. United lost by 4 to City. They weren't bad that season. We're not a bad team, we're just playing shit, really shit. Not like we have bad players. We win our games over christmas and we will probably be right back in the mix again knowing this season. Ifs and buts I know.
