You're not a bad team. You're also not very good. You're a bit good.

'Very good' teams don't lose by five goals at home. United lost by 4 to City. They weren't bad that season. We're not a bad team, we're just playing shit, really shit. Not like we have bad players. We win our games over christmas and we will probably be right back in the mix again knowing this season. Ifs and buts I know. 5 actually KEEP SINGING 6-1

Just got back and watched some highlights of Liverpool v Spurs, Henderson was fantastic again, very much like a young Stevie G and Suarez fantastic as per normal these days.

Fryers was better than Naughton, at least he tackled Sterling once. A plank of wood would probably be better than Naughton at left-back though. Fryers should have started.

Worth mentioning we still conceded three goals after Fryers came on.

Really not looking forward to next week. Liverpool are 100% going to tear us apart. Not that that is news to anyone but still.

I'd love to know the logic of loaning BAE with Fryers, Naughton and Rose as the people to replace him.
It's also interesting to look back with hindsight and say Spurs were probably better signing 4 top players for 25mil instead of 8 players.

Benny Ekotto is a lazy fuck is probably the reason. Can't say after that tweet I don't get why AVB shipped him out.
I still think our signings are good, we just have utterly no idea how to implement them. Ronaldo wouldn't work in this system

BAE is shite. Wouldn't make a difference.
I'm still made up here.

BAE doesn't get on with AVB. Poor move regardless though, which has bit us in the arse. Easier said than done to sign 4 25m players when you don't have the CL. We did the best we could given our pull. There's nobody else out there who we could have realistically got. Missing out on Willian doesn't look that damaging either.

Harsh to say when Willian hasn't gotten a regularly run in th eteam.
Personally I'm shocked Spurs sold a left winger for £80million and didn't buy a new left winger. Or seeing as they have a poacher they could have gotten a midfielder/number 10 who makes runs into the box rather than buy more 'outside the box' playermakers like Eriksen, in addition to Holtby and Sig. Or probably a backup striker incase Soldado was shit seeing as Defoe is the only other option they've got and he clearly doesn't rate him.
