I am overreacting, but Everton and Arsenal could destroy us. We'll have to score 3 past each to have a chance of winning.

You'll raise your game for them two at Anfield, no doubt about it. Fancy you to beat at least one of them.

@johnny Jack Wilshere has more England caps than G Neville, P Neville, Scholes and Beckham did combined at the same age. Yeah but you know there are a lot of different circumstances for that. Paul (^) said one of them, the England team in 95/96 was a quality team (especially for England). Caps seem to be handed out a lot more readily now as well, doesn't Zaha have a cap? Chamberlain has like 13? Particularly if you're a hot prospect playing for a top London club. Part of that is just a modern football thing, it's evolved to giving younger players more chances ie: 7/12 of the youngest players to play for England made their debuts after those 4 were in the team (98 onwards), 4 of them played in the 1800s and the other was Duncan Edwards. I think Fergie really protected those players as well. When they were given their chances though they made greater inroads to nailing down a spot than Wilshere has, and he doesn't exactly have a wealth of competition either (like I said, everyone rages about Cleverley). Don't get me wrong I think he has a chance to go on and do that, but it's nowhere near as nailed on now as people made out it was 4/5 years ago.

I will be absolutely gobsmacked if Wilshere and Henderson arent England starters for years to come. I like to think Barkley too but you start running out of room. False 9!
And I think your point about dismissing Ramsey and Scznesny is pretty stupid. No one leaves out Giggs when talking about the class of 92. It's obvious they'd both start for England right now.

On a more positive note, Daniel Sturridge's stats are amazing. 21 goals in 28 league games for us now. If we didn't have Suarez we'd be raving about him. 10 in 14 last year and 11 in 14 this. Ticking over very nicely. obligatory nod towards Bolton: allah U R GAY Germany's Top Scorer

His finishing is so much better than I ever expected from him, I won't lie that has surprised me. He doesn't seem to shoot just off muscle memory as well, he nearly scored a lovely goal against Swansea last season with the outside of his foot where 9/10 players would have hit it across the keeper, he tried to smash it near post and it was a good save to stop it.
Plus his record this season is almost identical to Aguero's. I think the whole Suarez v Aguero debate is out of the window anyway, should it be Sturridge v Aguero?

The whole Suarez vs Aguero debate isn't out the window. And he's a far better player than Sturridge as well.

Would take Aguero over either of them. Equal ability to Suarez while being the polar opposite in terms of likeability.

He's not drastically outscoring him though. He's a better player in general I get that and most seasons he'll outscore him but he hasn't done this season, it has to be said with much better support.

Who's gonna score for Liverpool if the strikers don't? Your next top scorer must have about 2. If City score 5 Aguero might get 2, If Liverpool score 5 Suarez and Sturridge will probably get them all.
Happens every time there's a discussion about strikers but goalscoring stats aren't the be all and end all. Suarez might break the Premier League goalscoring record this season but he's not the best striker of the PL era is he.

Aguero is my favourite non-Forest player by an absolute mile. Love Suarez the player too, but Aguero is just brilliant.

Zoopla's ending their sponsorship with West Bromwich Albion at the end of the season. Someone's got a bit stressy over that Anelka celebration.
