So Uefa (and therefore Platini) have been pushing for it's members not to support Blatter's attempts to seek a fifth term in charge of Fifa, and magically the papers tomorrow are running that Platini met up with that dodgy Qatari guy in secret.
I wonder who could have possibly leaked that?!

this is probably why nothing'll change. they probably all have dirt on each other - if one falls, they all go. and i imagine they value the fat stacks fifa provides more than stuff like safety and logic

No one wants to travel to the other side of the world to watch football. Australia sucks. Give it to us. We shouldn't get it and I don't think we can because the 2018 World Cup is in Europe.

for what reason? time of the games will be a massive turn off to most people They've never hosted one, the other options for it have and fairly recently (I'm assuming you know there's zero chance England can't host it btw). They've done plenty of work on developing football in the country with the A-League, and already has the tourism infrastructure needed. Plus chances are the World Cup would have a genuine long-lasting effect in the country, which is also what it's supposed to do. Times of games shouldn't matter one bit really. And for me personally that would be a bonus.
